Milk + Cookies

Why is it that you always need a vacation after a vacation? I think I’m still on relax mode after a retreat in Santa Cruz this weekend with lots of sun and some beach. Can someone tell me why sun makes one SO tired?

Tonight, I made my favorite Snickerdoodle cookies using this recipe from one of my favorite bloggers! The first time I made these, I went Amish style and beat everything by hand but THIS time, I have my sexy Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Just looking at the batter alone, I could tell that this batch would turn out better than the first. And indeed they did! Crusty on the outside, soft in the middle…just as it should be.

Whoever sees me tomorrow might just get a piece of this yummy goodness!
